One thing you'll notice with my meal plans is that they only go from Monday to Friday.  I've learned that if I only plan for 5 days I'm more likely to stick to it!

Week of October 12 to October 16

Please don't think I'm ignoring the meal planning section!  Since Tony's laid off he recently went to a meat wholesale store about an hour from our house and came home with more meat than we can eat!

So this week he's been making the meal plan day by day with his meat and manly grill :)
Week of October 5 to October 9

Last week i did really well, and stuck to my meal plan!  I'm very proud of that because it RARELY happens :) and since we really have no money until later this week, I'm scraping what we have, even if we've just had it!

Monday:           Grilled Cheese and Soup

Tuesday:          Spaghetti and Garlic Bread

Wednesday:     Tacos

Thursday:         Steak-ums and tator tots

Friday:              Frozen Pizza


Week Of September 28 to October 2

I'm still trying to keep things as easy as possible....It doesn't seem Like Tony will get back to work any time soon, so the cheaper we can eat the better.

Monday:         Grilled Cheese and Soup

Tuesday:        Tacos with Spanish Rice

Wednesday:   Home made Macaroni & Cheese and Hot Dogs

Thursday:       Breaded Chicken, Green Beens, Potatoes

Friday:           Leftovers



Week of September 21 to September 25

This week I am trying to scrape the barrel of my pantry and come up with semi-good meals.  Since Tony is still laid off, money is really tight and this week there was really no food money, but I can work with what I have.

Monday:         Leftover Baked Ziti

Tuesday:        Hamburger Helper (kind yet to be decided)

Wednesday:   Breaded, Fried Chicken Breasts, Green Beans, and New Potatoes

Thursday:       Hot Dogs, tator tots and fruit

Friday:           Sloppy Joe's and potato chips
